This application allows the employees to clock in and out from their desktop computer, without installing any software: all they need is an internet connection and a web browser. The employees can record each operation using a password or their fingerprints (additional fingerprint readers will be required in this case). The use of fingerprints to identify each employee avoids time theft and "buddy-punching" and saves the time of modifying passwords or PINS when the employees forget them.
The application creates detailed reports that can be exported to Microsoft® Excel or Acrobat® PDF format, and provide exact information about worked hours for each employee.
